ITINERARY
DAY 01 -WELIGAMA

Airport to Weligama Bay
Our representative will await your arrival at the Colombo International Airport expecting you. Let’s began your holiday and we’ll make sure its a memorable one. You will be transferred to Weligama Bay. Arrive at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 02 – MIRISSA

In warm Indian ocean you can see Blue whales, Bryde´s whales, Sperm whales, Fin whales, sometimes Killer whales, and Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, Spinner dolphins,
Risso’s dolphins and Striped dolphins. Whale watching season starts in November and ends in April. Ocean is warm and calm during these months.
The duration of the tour is 3-4 hours. Boat leaves from Mirissa harbor at 7:00 o´clock in the morning. Afternoons the ocean usually rough and not suitable for whale watching.
Bidding farewell to Mirrissa we make our way to Yala National Park today. Checking into our hotel in the evening for our next day safari. Overnight stay in Yala
DAY 03 – YALA

After early breakfast commence a full day jeep safari in the Yala National Park by private jeep accompanied by a tracker.
YALA PARK is the island’s most popularly known reserves, and one of its biggest, encompassing an area of 14,101 hectares. Its terrain is best described as a tropical thorn forest and offers numerous lagoons within the park which offer stunning scenes and excellent spots to camp out and marvel at the many animals, birds, elephants that it draws. Yala also offers the highest density of Leopard population in the world and is your best chance to catch a glimpse of this often shy member of the cat
family. A packed lunch will be provided as we will cover two rides into the reserve; morning and evening run.

DAY 04 – ELLA

This morning we depart Yala for coastal Bundala National Park. This fantastic labyrinth of waterways, dunes and lagoons is the home to thousands of brightly coloured birds from over 200 species. It is also home to the magnificent greater flamingo and has a decent amount of Asian elephants that call the park home. We take a jeep safari here before transferring later on to Udawalawa National park for another wild Elephant safari in the evening. Udawalawe National Park is the only place in the world where an elephant sighting is guaranteed on every game drive.

DAY 05 – ELLA



Ella is surrounded by hills covered with cloud forests and tea plantations. The town has a cooler climate than surrounding lowlands, due to its elevation. The area has a rich bio-diversity, dense with numerous varieties of flora and fauna.
Ella town is a small town among the up county destinations consisted of waterfalls, caves and geographically significant places. The views through Ella Gap are stunning, and on a clear night you can even spy the subtle glow of the Great Basses lighthouse on Sri Lanka’s south coast. One such place is Adams Peak, figured in Pyramid Shape Mountain which stands opposite of the Ella rock.
Little Adams Peak. It is 1141 m in height and from the entrance it takes up to 30-45 min for the hike.The Nine Arches Bridge also called The Bridge in the sky is one of the most iconic bridges in Sri Lanka and is one of the best examples of British railway constructions when Ceylon was yet a colony of the British Empire. It is located in Demodara, between Ella and Demodara railway stations. The surrounding area has seen a steady increase of tourism due to the bridge's architectural ingenuity and the profuse greenery in the nearby hillsides. It is often likened to the countryside through which the fictional Hogwarts express passes through in the Harry Potter world. Ravana waterfalls is located in Ella. Ravana falls is a very popular sightseeing attraction place in Sri Lanka, it is currently ranked as the widest fall in the island. This waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft) in height and cascades from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop.

DAY 06 – PASIKUDAH via MAHIYANGANAYA

Leave after an early breakfast to Passikudha stopping en route to see Dambana a village where it is possible to meet the Veddha community, Sri Lanka’s instinctive. A chance to witness the tools that they use and their lifestyle at Dabana – Mahiyangana.
The coastal resort of Passekudah is blessed with miles of beautiful, white sandy beach, a shallow coastline and crystal clear waters. After hotel check, spend the rest of your time at leisure, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying one of Sri Lanka's finest beaches.
DAY 07 – PASIKUDAH

Continue to stay in Sun-Kissed Pasikudha beach
DAY 08 – HABARANA

Polonnaruwa / Minneriya or Hiriwadunna trek
In the morning we leave to visit ancient Polonnaruwa which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was the Capital of Sri Lanka from 11th – 13th Century. It contains some splendid and spectacular statues.
After exploding Polonnaruwa the ancient ruins, head back to Habarana with a stop for a jeep safari at Minneriya National Park OR take part in the Hiriwaduna Trek. This trek allows you to understand village life as well as experience a bullock cart ride and even a catamaran boat ride.

DAY 09 – SIGIRIYA


Sigiriya – Negombo.
This morning visit the famous ‘Lion Rock’ fortress. Built over 1500 years ago, this beautiful citadel stands 200 meters high in the middle of verdant jungle and was an important stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. It can be viewed from miles around and is definitely one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic and famous sites. You’ll be able to view the world famous paintings of the Heavenly Maidens which stand in a sheltered pocket of the rock approached by a spiral stairway and climb to the top of the rock for wonderful panoramic views. En route to Negombo, visit Dambulla Rock temple, situated in a cave and view the painted walls and ceilings comprising of over 150 images of the Buddha. See the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 metres. From Dambulla, drive on to the laid-back coastal town of Negombo, just north of Colombo, where you’ll spend your final night of the tour. Overnight stay in Negombo
DAY 10 – AIRPORT

Negombo to Airport After breakfast your chauffeur guide will comfortably take you to the Colombo international airport in time for your onward flight.
